    Before out-of-county applicants are accepted into an Idaho Master Gardener Program, the UI Extension office in your resident county is contacted and arrangements are made concerning the administration of your volunteer activities. Cultural problems not specifically covered by UI recommendations may be handled by suggesting treatments that an experienced Idaho Master Gardener considers appropriate. Collaborative relationships with countless agencies, groups, and individuals make possible a vast array of innovative educational programs. Volunteer Service Opportunities Idaho Master Gardeners assist in many areas of the community through demonstration gardens, horticulture classes, landscape designinformation booths, and at the UI Extension office.
